Was starting to sort out the dash connections last night. Earlier this month I got the engine started etc and I could hear the valve make a noise (i think) when flicking the switch..but now for some reason I can't hear anything! The fus is OK and so is the wiring at the dash.... Should you hear something cos I can't tell?, and the thought of having to get at the valve now the engine is in place fills me with trepidation. Both tanks have a small amount of fuel so can't find out that way iunless I want to run the engine for ages.

...any thoughts?

cheers

the factory pollock valve is causing trouble to everybody, get the pevkoil valves that are used for bio diesel conversions.
I have 2 of them installed and they work ever since. They can be found on ebay germany and I can buy them for you if you are unable to source them in the UK

Not so, I have been using a Pollak valve for years without any issues!

Kind regards

Hi Uwe, I would have fitted the Pevekoil valve had it been around at the time of my build. It does look better quality.

It can be bought in the uk here.

I installed the factory-supplied Pollak valve and had no problems.

Hi Guys,

To my questions the factory have said the valve is the motorised type not a solenoid. Current is only consumed during transition state. These fuel valves are 100% reliable in our experience, not one single failure as yet.

cheers
