I have installed my oil thermostat yesterday inbetween the pressured line that went directly to the cooler so far.
I am seeing now small drops in oil pressure which makes me thinking that this MOCAL thermostat when in bybass mode is probably reducing my oil pressure.
Could also be that my level is now a little lower.....?
I understand that the thermostat in cold mode is bypassing the oil and maybe the internal bypass capacity is a problem ?
UPDATE
It turned out to be that I just reached the level of the oil in the system that is not enough any longer with the additional pipes and thermostat, so after putting
half a liter more, all is fine. Pressure is stable again and at the old level. The thermostat is a must as it nicely regulates the oil temperature, at least what I noticed on my half hour test drive through the mountains here. So I can confirm that the MOCAL thermostat is working in the pressured side of the dry sump, if you are like me not using the internal oil pumps of the LS7.

THE ONES I OPENED WERE HORRIBLE INSIDE.
IF YOU TAKE IT APART AND TUNE THE SHARP CORNERS,
YOU'LL BE EVEN HAPPIER.

ALTHOUGH IT DOESN'T EFFECT THE OILPRESURE,
A PETROLHEAD CANNOT LIVE WITH SUCH A POOR QUALITY.
