Hello - New Owner
Discussion
After years of lusting after an Ultima I have finally bought a Can Am.
The car is everything I hoped it would be, and I am chuffed to bits with it.
Just like to say a big thank you to Andy Gladwyn whom I bought the car from, he has made a fantastic job of building it, and his help and advice with the car has been greatly appreciated, he is a top bloke, although I felt pretty gutted for him after I had picked it up, must have felt strange to see the car go to a new owner after all the hard work and money he has spent on it.
I have managed to put 400 miles on it over the last few days, and have spent a great deal of time in the local petrol station!
Hope to see some of you around in the near future, are there any owners on here that are local to the Herts area?

Hi and Welcome to the world of Ultima driving. I glad to see Andy's car has found a good new home. Also spent Easter driving aroung 300 miles from fuel station to fuel station. Will see you around I am sure. Just need some excuses to drive somewhere.
I guess from your sign in you are a TVR convert?.

Lucky you - I believe that’s one quick car.
It's no good worrying about the fuel costs now. I enjoy a bit of reverse psychology in that I try to see what's the least number of miles I can get per tank off fuel. The lower I get it, the more fun I have usually had along the way, which means more 'smiles per gallon'.

Thanks a lot Mark, I'm really glad you like the car.
and yes it was very hard to leave her behind, but I think she's in good hands.
If you have half as much fun with the car as I've had you are in for a VERY enjoyable ownership..... and the fact that you can trounce almost all exotica on the road is a good feeling too.
Enjoy
