Spring is in the air, it time for me and the GTR to emerge from the cave . yeh

Quitely reading the Daily Facist over a cup of tea and see are cousin across the channel are upset cause the Brits have been over burning up the motorway in their BMW M3's. So the Frog Flicks oops sorry French Gendarmes have bought a couple of plain clothed 2CV's which do 170mph, with a promise to catch the daring English pimpernels who exceed 80 mph
(French accent) "we ave the kit too atch yoou"

This seems a challenge to a lowly chap like meee !!

Never did like the French ... 1 ticket to Calais please ..just me and my Ultima,to Paris and don't spare the horses all 644 of them :

hey G_man, can you make a 10-15 video of you driving your GTR around, possibly showing it's acceleration, and breaking? I want to hear engine note and see your car in action.

Don't see why not, I am told that the exhaust noise is brillant but I never hear it as my GTR travels fast than the speed of sound ...

Do you have a web site to site it if I do ..

I run a ftp server with Ultima videos. I will most likely purchase a domain name and setup a Website for car enthusiasts to download Ultima car videos only. Most of them are quite short. In my opinion, I think Ultima car owners should make an indepth video of their car. Just to show the sports car enthusiasts what a real beast can do! I think it'll be a great way to endorse Ultima Sports Ltd as well... G_man, if you could make one approximately 10-15 minutse or more that shows the depth of your car; glimpse of the exterior, engine bay, interior, accerlation, driving around town in slow speeds, and the highway with higher top end, revving the engine to deploy the note, braking... That would definitely draw a crowd. I will put the video on my ftp server so everyone can grab it. Additionally, if I have time, I'll setup a Website with the videos.

Re. vids.

Like Gareth, I'll be dusting off the GTR this weekend for a blast and intend on making another video (with more engine noise rather than Motorheadthis time )

Who knows, if Guy and G Man are about we could do a formation flypast on the Marlow bypass

I tried to get some video yesterday, sat me mates spottie teenager in the GTR gave him a camcorder ..

Results, lots of sky shots, video of our shoes under braking, engine noise, words like s***, f**** and then the sound of gentle sobbing when I would not slow down.

Where is a good cameraman when you need one ...

G_man, I am looking forward to the video. If only I could pay off my college loans asap, I would build my own GTR... Make my own videos for people to see how great of a car, an Ultima really is...

G-Man..... I bought a camera mount.... got a quite a bit of the convoy from the Pub (greenman?) to Brands for the GT racing.

Unfortunatelly I didn't get the most interesting bit as I pulled out of the Pub..... I think I even shocked Ultimasimon.

On this point I do have a lot of footage incuding track action (not that exciting IMHO) and some speed runs at Bruntingthorpe..... maybe we should get them together..

ULTIMACLUB..... you looking for content?

You need a camera mount like Andy has which clamps to the roll cage that runs between the seats. Did a search, but can't find one the same. Very neat mount. Ask Clive for details.

I was trying to setup the camera and press Record - quite a simple matter really, but not with a 4-point on and Andy in 'Red Baron' mode. Don't know who's new M3 it was in the car park, but as we left the car park it was infront and making progress..I recall a precise overtaking manouvre and we were now infront of it. The wheels did not stop spinning through out the manouvre I remember cussing Andy about the fact the he was supposed to do manouvres like that after the cam was on, and not before.
