ok folks,

looks like i am going to build one more canam, and there are things I want to to differently.
Has anybody experience with the Laminova water to oil cooler, I thing Budala has installed one ?
I know the extra oil cooler radiator would allow additional heat dissipation but to me it seems the
factory radiator has no problems coping with the LS7 engine and this laminova exchanger would heat up the oil quicker and
clean the engine bay of hoses.
Has anybody been asking the factory to make a tank that is a rectangular size instead of the wedge ?
I hope this gives me addional 10 liters so 50 liters altogehter and then I would not use a second tank.

thanks

Well that's just greedy biggrin
I have a Laminova cooler, it works well but it does keep the oil temps a bit low when on the move, around 80 degrees, it tends to creep up when pushing on but in general oil/water keeps one another in check. I have mine on the right side of the rad behind the (UK) driver which I believe is the cool side of the radiator, so that could be the reason.
Not sure I would want to go with one tank unless it was across the back of the bulkhead, but there's no room with a Chevy in there, only seen it with the Audi installed.

What else do you plan for the new build??

thanks, I think the list for changes would be a long one, but one tank is definetely high on it.
50 liters are ok with me and there are gas stations everywhere where I drive.
I will keep the same engine and gear box, will change the gear linkage to something lighter.
today the sun is shining and I probably will go for a ride yipieeeeee !

If you use the audi V-engine (and gearbox)
you have enough room in front of it
to fit a 50 liter tank
