oil flow through hoses

Hi all gonna plumb my acusump in tomorrow can anyone tell me , looking at oil filter sandwich plate that lets oil to and from oil cooler on s b c, which is the out and which is the return ? i think i know which one is what?? but i just need it confirming , and the way im seeing it? as you look from above viewing the unions on said sandwich plate there is a left and a right hose , which one is it ? hope that made sence ? cheers for any ideas , Dal

Oil from the pump comes up into the outer section of the oil filter...through the filter...back into the oilways via the filters centre screw thread.
I would imagine there is more than one design of sandwich plate so you will need to inspect yours to find which pipe connects to the outer and which to the inner.

thanks for reply , what i think i might do to make sure is crack off one of the oil cooler hoses , pop the coil lead off and wizz the starter over and see if the oil comes out of hose or cooler then i will see which way the oil is flowing ,
