Hi all plumbed in oil lines today and fixed location of acusump now just got to wire it in , im pretty sure iv found the the unused wire block ( brown /blue and black wires) , my question? at the mo the brown/blue has no power coming from it ( ignition on or off ) , so am i right in thinking the other end of the brown/blue is located in the fues box area and unconnected cheers for any ideas

Yes that is where you will find it.

You should do more than just wire it to a fuse. You should be looking to connect it to an oil pressure switch.

I changed my live feed to pick up the efi fuel pump supply. In that way the accusump only working when you are actually starting engine.

If you use the ignition supply you can turn on the ignition and wait a few moments to let the Accusump pre-oil the engine before startup. If you use the EFI supply you will already be turning the engine over before any oil can get round the engine.

My accusump goes live when I connect power to the efi unit which in my case happens when I turn the fuel pump selector switch from the centre position to either left or right. SO as the fuel pump primes the system and the injectors prime the engine the accusump is doing its job.

Most EFI ECUs only run the EFI pump for a few seconds then turn it off again until they detect cranking revs.
If you are connecting to the low pressure pump supply that is a different matter and may well stay live.

Yes HP pump only runs for a few secs but it is connected to EFI switch wire which is in turn connected to LP pump supply. So HP pump can only run if LP pump is running and accusump only gets activated when I actually switch on LP pump to start engine. It works. Trust me I'm a chicken plucker!
