Windscreen removal
Discussion
My advice would be to pay a screen fitter to do it for you.
It will be out in moments and you will think to yourself that you have wasted money on something that was so simple but believe me it is a skill and well worth paying for.
I know 'how' to plaster a wall but there is no way I can actually do it.

OK in the circumstances, but a couple of hours?...and all that hacking with blades which will score the paintwork?

Windscreen is out.
I did try to get an expert to do it but local companies said that it would probably break while they were doing it as they had no one experienced with that car's screen.
I did email Glassman but had reached the point where it needed to be out so I had a go myself.
The difficult bit is getting a hole you can poke a thin wire through. I used a strand from a bit of wire rope I had laying around and used it to saw my way round the screen. It took a while and in the end I had to get my wife to help with the front of the screen. I should have got her to help earlier as the last 25% took 5 mins to do.
All in it took about an hour and cost £0.00.
It's cracked but in one piece, however, I was going to replace it as it had wiper marks on it.
Just about ready to lift the top of the centre bodywork off now
