Sorry, couldn't help myself!

I live where there are many mountain roads and I enjoy running the canyons as fast as possible. My goal is performance. I am not too concerned about rain, because I simply won't be flying when it's wet. The car will be street-legal, but be driven frequently on road courses like Laguna Seca.

Please be as specific as you wish. The entire transaxle-thing is new to me and I am still fiddling with designs, types, ratios, and the like.
