Anybody know the Angle on the carb flange? I am trying to set my throttle body level for ease of installing a cold air intake system.

The carb flange would normally be level. If the install in a particular car causes this to be out of level they would fit a tapered spacer.

tappered spacer used to be the norm on front mounted V8 where the motor angle wasnt level or they wanted for drag racing to eliminate fuel surg to the rear floats... I think the norm on ours is flat but others will have to comment.. Sorry

Both the victor jnr supplied with engine and the victor manifold that I have now set the air cleaner at quite an tilt forwards. I want to fit a wedge to level it out. Not easy to measure angle so I wonder if anybody knows what it is.

Not that I would ever doubt Prof Steve but all the Manifolds I had for my SBC had a slight lean forward to them....

If you have a look in the Jegs online and go into 'more info' against each item you will see it listed if they have a carb angle. Some are 0 degrees others (typically) 3 degrees.

I suspect Clive is right that I have it wrong as the majority I looked at in the list do have an angle.
