Heh!

Sorry no politics here!

Just an eensy-weency liddle quezzie!

Working through the dash wiring I found the rear fog cable feed is quite big, and is not linked to a relay, like the option front fog.

So, bearing in mind we are using the newer factory led light clusters now, can anyone tell me what the max current draw would be for the rear fog?

I aim to use a savage switch, but I think these are rated for a max of 10 amps?

Any help would be appreciated.

cheers

I can't tell you the exact current draw, but bearing in mind it is an LED cluster, I would be very surprised if it is more than 4 or 5 amps.

I don't think you need to worry about using a relay.

Usually low draw, you can check with a multimeter

that would be 60 watts like the low beam ? you must be kidding, the led cluster probably is using 0,5 amps maximum. Typically a normal LED runs at 20 mA each.
so for 0,5 amps it could be 25.
