OK. Tried search but as usual not working.

Can someone give me the "old git" step-by-step guide to posting pictures and I will post some of my strip down and rebuild.

One of my problems is that the pics I take are say 4mb but they need to be smaller. How do I do that?

Start your topic or reply to a topic.
Above the box you are typing in find Upload an image.
Click on that and you will get a browse box of you PC hard drive. Find the pic then hit upload.
I think you can only do one at a time but worth experimenting. You can keep going back and adding more pics before you post your topic/reply.

I use: http://imageshack.us just do what it says,

Thanks Steve

I am taking plenty of photos of the car as I strip it down (poor memory these days) and will load some from camera to upload to here (I know all the terminology but that's as far as it goes).

Despite the fact that I discovered computers in the early 70's (do some even remember the IBM 360 series?), I manage to get around with the electronic thingy me jigs. To avoid posting enormous size pictures, you can make a copy (to avoid mucking up the original) of the picture, open with something like MS Picture Manager and resize (compress)the picture for posting on the web. Voila job done!

I started with them in the early 80's with BBC B's. Problem is I see them as a tool. I don't care how they work, just that they do. I don't "play". I only learn how to do something when I need to.

PS/ And I don't possess a computer game! I would rather do the real thing.

If you use the upload process I described it automatically resizes the picture.

Ah, didn't know that this automatic compression option existed here. In some other forums it is a real bcensoredr with non compressed photos
