Fuel gauge reading VERY low

Anyone have any tips on calibrating the fuel gauge?

With approximatly 1/2 tank (20l from dry) it shows a 1/16th of tank and when full it's a bit above 3/4.

All I've seen on the web is the dip tubes matching the guauge.

is this with std gauge and is it the same with both tanks?

It's with an Ultima VDO guage though which type I've no idea if there are some.

Both tanks reading low.

I have the problem with both tanks, I need a smaller engine

I think we might all have the same problem if petrol prices carry on soaring!

It might soon be cheaper to run them on vodka............
