mixing track day tyres.

In a bid to find a cost cutting option of tyres while completing costly upgrades in car and kitchen over the winter Ive been pricing arround for the Toyo tyres and come to the conclusion I might mix and match..Unless anyone has a decent set of part worn sitting in the garage they want to sell???


Im thinking of Toyo R888 on the rear and Kumo on the fronts due to size options..

What do you think??

not tried it but would be very wary, 888s have a funny way of going off after some hard laps, and khumo dont have same grip even when hot. would be potentially lairy if they go off at different rates.
