Red gelcoat colour

Guys

Anyone know the colour code of the red in the Ultima, or closest match?
or what its loosely based on - remember hearing somewhere it was based on a ford red, maybe wrong.

When I had my side scoops sprayed the closest match that we could find was Ford radiant red, it's not the correct colour but it was as close as I could get, you need a critical eye to tell (well I think so)

If you want a bit closer I found Dupli-Color 5-0281 Auto Color Acryl Spray was the closest to mine. Though they have a few shades either side. I bought about 4 cans and returned 3 (unused) that didn't quite match.

Thanks for the info, however the factory have jumped to the rescue.

The colour has changed recently and the new red that i have is:

RAL code - 3020 ( Well Closest Match )
