Cam Upgrade - LS2

Anyone have any experience of swopping cam on LS engine. I am looking at fitting Comp Cams - XER281HR good power increase with some light head work and not too much affect on idle quality. Any other recommendations. I am also upgrading push rods and springs, anything else I should be doing. Cheers Tony

Speak to Kyle (Gulfls3)

He has just built a LS2 for me with upgraded cam, ported heads and springs etc. and just dyno'd at 524bhp with excellent road manners.

Have tried contacting Kyle as he did mention he had his own cam, however can't get hold of him.

Fit some yella terra rockers whilst you are in there.....if you are changing pushrods that is....its better to get the correct length pushrod based on what you should upgrade to than buying another set next time...If so just make sure whoever does your conversion knows how to set up the pre-load properly..otherwise you are leaving potential on the table whichever cam you use...
