Guys, anyone got any recommendations or horror stories of vehicle trackers?

Probably best to mail me rather than put it on a public forum.

To my knowledge there has never been an Ultima stolen.
Not even heard of anything attempted.

save your money for something shiny.

I use COBRA as the insurance company insisted on one if the value of the car is over £50 000.

i have tracker fitted.... required if over 40k..

I too heard never been stolen before and quite frankly I have hidden fuel pump switches, by passes everwhere so they couldnt start it and the garage is alarmed too....

the cars too low to put on a trailer so let them try..

On a seperate note my classic cars i dont lock the doors... if they want in they will damage it if locked... if they cant start it they walk away!!!!!!

On Youtube search Two Guys Garage. They have a short clip about how to use an old cell phone as a tracking device. It looks like a cheap and easy way to give peace of mind. I will probably rig one up myself. It should cost less for a pay as you go plan over a one year period compared to paying a GPS tracking company for the same period. I have not compared pricing myself yet though....

Hi Kenn,
The trouble with that I think is that it is not a recognised/certified system recognised by insurance companies.
