That looks good. I wanted to do something like this. Wasn't thinking quite that much but I think it's made it look a lot more agressive and I'm liking it

Yep I also like that agressive look.....think there was a white swedish one that had that look.....makes me wish I had a GTR....ah well......
Mark how many switches and screens have you got in there???? It's all I can do to look at the speedo let alone let alone find a switch I want.... one reason I put the Ford stalks on.....eek
Still....I do like your car..cool (right colour as well wink)

Thanks Graham, i'd stick with your canam at the mo, my aircon has a slight leak so its mega hot with a roof.

Allan, have you bumped into Robyn Ellard yet, ex GTR owner just moved back to OZ.

Looks great but does the wiper blade rub on any of the vinyl ? will that not hurt it ?

The wiper does rub on mine and after a year has started to rib the vinyl. One of the mods Ive done over the winter is shorten the arms by an inch or so..

Running the windscreen line as Mark and I have makes so much of a difference to looks and to driving. The sun does not glare infront or to the side of you and there is no restriction to what you can see outside except Police helicopters..hahhahaha

Nice job Mark, looks Great

Thanks Dom. As you mentioned yes technically it would damage the vinyl, but alas im a fair weather GTR driver.

I have to say the most shocking aspect for me, is from behind the wheel.

I had my vinyl double applied with an initial layer of black, purely to stop the red glaring me in the face when sun hits it. But this in turn changes the outlook from the drivers position, you really do feel like your in a Leman racer. So so pleased with the result.

Everyone within my group of friend could not believe the difference it has made. But lets face it, the car stops traffic as it is.

In fact a BMW M3 actually stopped on a busy island today to let me out, and then just happily sat behind me admiring the view. Ive never heard such a thing a bmw driver letting someone out of a junction would be shocking enough, but to literally stop traffic to look at my car. The GTR is something very special. Im hooked anyway.

Just me I expect but I don't like the look.
The horizontal cut line is not in keeping with the rounded lines of the rest of the car.

I like the covering on the side and windscreen (a la Olsson99). It does give the GTR a great fighter plane and modern look, but I don't know how that would be accepted in this country regarding driver's visibility...

its the standard one fitted to mine..

I have shortened arms in that photo.. never had problem with visability as screen has rainx on it so wipers only used in traffic..
