I don't think there is any Swede building a Can-Am..

And yes, we are building in the same garage..

Hi !

Nope, not yet. I need to clear out my working space first. I have another project standing on supports in the garage right now.
Engine is finished and will go back soon. Am doing new plumbing for gas, breaks and clutch after painting engine bay and trunk.

After that comes bushings, control arms, new exhaust.....


I have bought and started build of the engine for the Ultima. Have a possible gearbox, and have bought cable gearbox linkage. Am deciding on brakes for it in near future. I am thinking of a set up of used standard brakes from the factory.
Have also sourced seats that I might go for.
So in a way I have started. But I don't have the frame or anything like that.

maajola, what engine and gear box are you running? Also what sort of HP and torque are you developing?

Sorry to ask questions but my Swedish is not too good. LOL.

4 litre v8 32 valve in aluminium. Which one though? Were there any pics on the site, my pc's to slow for me to wait and see?

There is some pics on the webpage. But not on the engine. The engine is coming together rigth now and i'm planing to put out some pics of it in a few weeks.

As the engine isn't finnished yet I'm not 100% sure of the HP and torque. But my goal is 1000hp on pump gas.

The gearbox is a modified G64/51 (993 turbo gearbox)

Hi,

Curious as to what modifications you have made to your gearbox - I too have a G64/20 (four wheel drive) gearbox and will need to modify it to fit my GTR. Did you remove the front drive shaft - (Tailpiece for the GTR since the box is inverted and flipped back to front) - or left it as is?
