I'm guessing I have some picture setting incorrect but I have a problem where the picture is fine even on fast paced moving objects, but when something passes across a scene it appears to shimmer immediately after reappearing.

Have Google to try and find the source of the problem but cannot find anything. As said motion is fine as long as the whole picture is moving but as soon as say a person walks through a panorama, the picture that was once hidden on reappearing shimmers briefly.

Any help greatly appreciated, thanks for reading and have a good day.

What is your input source when this occurs...... I had a similar issue when watching blu-ray.... I had to adjust a setting on the player.

I also had an issue of flashing white screens appearing between scenes.... this required a setting on TV to be turned off.

Sorry much help, as I can't remember what I turned off on both items, as it done over a few days of playing.

I think its on all sources but mainly foxsat freesat box. Never noticed it on the xbox though on game mode. Can I use game mode for all inputs?

Why have you got a freesat box on a freesat TV? Its not unusual for an external box to cause weird picture problems.

Is running via the foxsat, as led to believe that the tv tuner is only single tuner for freesat so wouldn't be able to record two channels at once. I can't have an aerial easily on my house.
Does still seem to do this using.g the Panasonic blueray player, again cinema mode.

Have you got Intelligent Frame Creation on? I've turned it off on all sources as I see the constructed frames when people walk across the screen, When on it appears to leave a false latent image. When off it's much better.
