Tv + 1 single surround speaker

So with the up coming purchase of my first house I am planning all the little things to do and top of the list is the lounge set up.

Now being someone who hates wires lying around everywhere I'm planning on having a 40-50" LED TV wall mounted and then I'm thinking a single surround sound speaker ( you no the ones, they give you surround sound but out of a single bar speaker) directly below.

But can anyone recommend any particular makes and models to go for that work together well or are maybe more aesthetically appealing then others?
