From optical to optical AND phono
Discussion
I think you'd need a DAC (digital to audio converter) to convert optical to phono as all optical is is red light! A simple adaptor or splitter probably wont help.
If it's possible you'd probably have to pslit the optical into two run one to the optical destination and one to a DAC that'll output it as phonos again.

Yes chap, that's what I've put in my post above - my question is whether there is a decent quality splitter that works, and whether there's a better option than the CYP DAC.If it's possible you'd probably have to pslit the optical into two run one to the optical destination and one to a DAC that'll output it as phonos again.
