Hope someone on here can help smile

I haven't yet switched to digital - which i need to do before August. Our main telly is a yr2005 B&O BeoVision Avant 32 DVD. It's a fab telly and i am in no rush to part with it.

Sooooo, anybody know which digital box would suit? My other options are to join SKY or Virgin.

Cheers

Cheers E31Shrew, might take a closer look at that. A chap i spoke to recently recommended a Topfield or Humax - anyone have any views on either of these, like compatibility with B&O kit?

Humax 9300 worth looking at. Twin tuner recorder. Uses SCART so fine with the telly. With the Avant though its trying to find a place to put it, but you can get a bracket to attach the recorder to the rear of the screen so it cant be seen. We didnt need a recroder so the SCART type Freeview adaptor was perfect

Thanks again mate. Mine has the cradle at the back so fitting/hiding one of the larger digital boxes is not a problem. It's a bloody great tv with amazing sound and looks imho, so i am reluctant to swap it for one of the newer more modern LCD's/Plasmas - which tbh, i don't think (from what i have seen anyway) are a patch on the quality of the B&O's CRT. Thanks for the recommendations thumbup

I would speak to your B&O dealer, if you go for a Humax or Topfield (or various others) they can set the TV up so that you can use the existing B&O remote to control the new digi box.
