Panasonic plasma TV green flashing light question.

I have a Panasonic TX-P37X20B 37" plasma TV. When I switch it on from standby the light on the front of the panel goes for red to green and flashes for about seven seconds. Is this normal? I've looked in the manual and on the internet and can find nothing that mentions this. I was wondering if it may be a fault code. If I switch the TV off at the switch on the side and switch it back on again after a few seconds it also flashes green before showing an image.

My 700 series Panasonic plasma does this too. Always has.

Upto 10 seconds is considered normal, yours is a plasma but on LCD's if it takes longer then it is usually a back light issue.
