Avid turntables

Anyone on here use them?

I'm interested in getting one as a second deck so I'm looking for info on how they perform.
There's no dealer local to me who has them for dem purposes so I'd be interested in learning a little more about their real world performance before going further afield.

I listened to a Diva 2 fitted with an RB300 arma a couple of years back, and have to say I was very impressed. If I remember correctly it was a fast, dynamic rocky sound, more Garrard than Linn.

I admit I actually bought a Gyro SE instead, this has a bit more flow and deeper bass, although arguably less grip. Although I don't regret buying the Gyro I did find it a tough choice.

Personally not convinced with the durability of the sorbothane suspension. I do have a LP12/Lingo/Ittok and prefer the dynamic sound and the slight warmth, that I personally enjoy from vinyl.
