Hello
I was wondering if someone knew the answer to this!

We have an HD ready TV and are currently using Virgin + HD. However, we would like to change across to Sky + HD BUT the TV we have was an early HD ready TV and only has a DVI input. This works fine with our V+ box, I was just wondering whether anyone knew if the Sky + box has a DVI output (I know it's not true HD but digital output, but it's an LG TV so I think that is a good make?)

Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards

Top lurkage!

I don't believe so - certainly the 2 I've had have HDMI only. That said, you might be able to get a converter to convert the HDMI out to DVI?

I've never tried it so can't confirm, sorry.

Its the same basically. You'd just need an adapter

In the office we have a DVI to HDMI cable (for connecting laptops to LCD telly), got it from Maplins.

Thanks for the replies. I shall get an adapter.

I shall now revert to my default position of lurking!

Dont forget the audio, DVI does not carry it so you will also need a phono-(whatever is on the back of your TV) lead.

DVI is true HD. Just use a DVI-HDMI cable or adapter and a separate audio connection.
