220v rated amplifier in a 240v supply?

Hi

I am about to buy an amp that is from Europe and rated at 220v & 50Hz and will be using it in the UK which is 240v & 50Hz!!!

Will it be a problem & if so - what are my options please?

Should be fine, most power supplies have a fairly wide tolerance for fluctuating voltage etc...

The UK power is not 240v, we had 10v stolen from us a few years ago. Although our power is now 230v it does fluctuate.

You'll be fine using a 220v rated amp on UK power.
