Recommend me a CD Player

Looking to replace the old and tired CD source - probably will go for half decent secondhand jobbie - so budget for this given the system: up to 250?

Marantz CD6003 is probably the best CD player close to your budget....

However, I would seriously consider some kind of digital interface like Sonos (for example) and move away from CD's. But that's just me!

Have a look about for a TEAC VRDS-8 - stunning. Very rhythmic and detailed without being clinical. Any TEAC transport is going to be good.

Marantz look good but I think I like the look of the TEAC better.
