I'm moving to a new house in about 5 weeks time. At present the living room is wired for a TV on the wall where an aerial cable and HDMI cable terminate waiting for the TV (not sure if only one or 2 HDMIs) all going back to a set of sockets in the corner of the room.

I'm assuming that the corner of the room will require all the hardware such as the signal box (I'll be going FreeSat HD) and a BlueRay player which will then send the signal to the TV.

As I do not believe there are any speaker wires installed I'm thinking that before upstairs is carpeted I get ceiling speakers installed in the living room (joisted floor so should have good access) for cinema sound and music and in the kitchen next door for music with the cables coming down the wall (inside hopefully) to the server (s) in the living room. I would like some sort of digital sound server in the living room to provide the sound source.

The question is what equipment to go with? All my music is on my iMac in iTunes (8000+ songs) so utilising the iTunes library seems sensible although I am not sure I want it running from the iMac which will be in my office (or is this the best solution?). Also...would a wireless solution be better/easier in this solution.

Not really sure where to start.. maybe a local AV company is what I need and, if so, anyone recommend one - It'll be around 10 miles north of Bournemouth.

Thanks
