I have a TV with one HDMI input.

I have a Blu-ray player and a Sky HD+ box.

I bought a cheap (2 input 1 output) splitter from eBay but it does not work.

Can you please recommend me one that does work.

Thanks.

That's not a splitter, it's a switch.

Have never tried this but have bought loads of other stuff (converters, switchers etc) from them that has all worked flawlessly:

If you want even cheaper and simpler then this has manual switching:

The Cablesson products are the budget ones, I've had several different cables/switches/splitters over the years from these guys. Good service, reasonable prices for decent products.

Looks just like the Neet one I was using to tide me over until it was new TV time. Used it for around a year and never had to touch it once - switched inputs whenever a box was switched on. used with Virgin HD box and a Vlu-Ray player
