Am considering getting some of this from the US and was wondering if anyone here's using/used it? Would only be for surround speakers.

Looks like it could be installed very easily and neatly.

My mate used some about 8 years ago in his flat...... did the job, stuck it the wall, painted over it very un-intrussive...... bit awakward when wanting to change direction and run along floor......think he connected it to normal cable at floor level in the end.

Thanks Hoover.

Looks like you fold it on itself to change direction.

Was thinking of doing the same at floor level - effectively have some fly leads that run to the speaker terminals.

As long as the resistance of the cable is suitably low enough there won't be a problem.

Don't forget the 'issue' of the other half deciding to put up a picture/painting when you're out and blowing the fuses in your amp as she nails through the cable biggrin

Used some in the first house i bought.
Ran it under a new wooden floor that i put in, instead of a cable running around the edge of the room; i think i bought it from Richer Sounds many years ago and did the trick for the surround speakers though.
