i-pod/i-phone docking to an amplifier

I have an old Monitor i-Deck in the kitchen to which the TV is connected for stereo audio aside from i-pod docking. The problem is that it only charges i-pods; it doesn't charge i-touches or i-phones.

Does anyone know of a small amp. that has a USB port that would interface to i-phones for audio and charging plus provide RCA/phono stereo connection for an auxilliary input? The i-Deck speajers perform quite well in the kitchen and are suitably discreet so I see no need to replace them.

Scosche, or whatever they are called, do a converter that slots in the dock that will allow charging with older units.
