Right, I want a much better quality docking station for my iPod, and I've narrowed it down to these 2:

BOSE: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bose®-SoundDock®...
B&W: http://www.amazon.co.uk/B-W-Zeppelin-Mini/dp/B0049...

Simple question really, which one would be better? Sadly I can't afford the "full fat" versions of either (the BOSE one is c£500 and the big Zeppelin is £650!) but knowing these 2 companies these smaller versions will still be epic quality. When I get 5 minutes I'll nip down to the Apple Store and take a look but for now I'm after your opinions. Cheers

The zeppelin mini looks and sounds great, it has a nice dock which rotates to landscape as well.

If you get an airport express then you can stream to it like the zeppelin Air smile

Im in the same boat, did have a nice Altec Lansing unit but the OH has broken it.

Ive tried both the BOSE Sound dock II (250ish) and the B&W mini, I was disappointed by both. If I had the cash Id have the big Zeppelin in a heart beat, it sounds and looks fantastic.

Another I have tried is the Dr DRE Beat box (£280ish), this packs a huge punch and would fill a massive room, very good low end. But it looks a bit crap and is rather large.

The Phillips kit is quite good, but for some reason it just doesnt appeal to me, likewise with the Pioneer I tried in selfridges at the weekend.

The product which I am probably going to buy is the Soundfreaq Sound Platform (£170), it has sound to match and IMO beat the BOSE but it also has bluetooth functionallity. However to confuse things a little more Soundfreaq have literally just released a brand new product "Soundfreaq Sound Stack" ($300-400,be in UK in couple weeks), initial reviews sound like its going to be the best for the price range.

I'd say Bose as well.

I love the larger Zeppelin but don;t have the space for it, so I was excited when they released the Mini as I planned to replace my own Bose dock with it.

I found the sound very disappointing so stuck with the Bose.

I am not a Bose fan generally, and the Soundock is the only one of their products that I own.
