I'm looking for inspiration on what unit to have for all the gubbins.

I've got Sky, DVD, PS3 and XBOX, but could probably put either the PS3 or the XBOX upstairs.

Can anyone provide pictures of their units they are using that is both tidy yet functional.

As an aside the unit will have to hold other bits and bobs so some storage would be great.

I have all my gear in a large sideboard under the tv, for signal u have used an infrared repeater and mounted the reciever on the leg underneath.

Not the best pic but the tv is 50"

That's ideal.

Can you explain how the repeater works over multiple devices?

The one I bought has 3 wands which point at your equipment.

The pic is of the unit that everything plugs into, the reciever is small and comes with a sticky pad smile

I see. I think.

I'm not sully understanding it if i'm honest.

So you have one receiver on the bottom of the unit, i get that. Does it then split off to your devices such as Sky, DVD etc.?

The pic in the link is of the unit which is in the cabinet, the small reciever takes all infrared signals and sends them down little wands which you place in front of your equipment.

If three wands aren't enough then there are loads of kits that give you more.

Hope that makes sense smile

Right. With you now.

So in the unit you have little free standing bit in front of your devices which then relay the signal. Very clever.

You may well just have saved me some grief from the wife!
