We have a Samsung monitor on the computer which has an analogue tuner in. It has RF in.
Now analogue has gone, I thought about a freeview box but it seems they need scart connection to the tv. Is there a way round this?

i got round this situation by using an old video recorder.
scart from freeveiw to video, rf from video to tv.

there are some freeview boxes around that have an rf output but very few and far between. You are unlikley to get one in the shops.

the Manhattan Plaza DT-100 has an rf modulator most boxes only have loop through.
Manhattans official website shows it as discontinued but amazon show it in stock at £26.99 another option is if your monitor has the red/white/yellow rf type plugs, you can then use a scart to r/w/y adaptor like they used to provide with games consoles.

Hope this helps

Have a look on flebay for a Thompson dti2000/2300. They have RF out but by default is turned off you have to scart it to a TV then turn it on then you can use it with your PC. Its no the best box in the world but there are usualy plenty of them about.

What Zod says. Far less hassle.
