LG 47LD950 vs 47LV355T
Discussion
Need a new 46/47 inch tv, and was going to go for the 47lv355t for 550 from Richer Sounds, however bloke at work has a 47ld950 I can have for 450. It's new from an insurance claim, he just upgraded.
Now this model is last years but has passive 3d which means you don't need the expensive glasses. The 355t on the other hand is only 2d and a much slimline design also has freeview hd which the other doesn't have. (However can't seem to find a full spec online!)
Which would you go for? Mainly watch sky hd, football and movies on blue ray.

I'd be interested in feedback on the 355T also, I've been looking at 46 & 47" for the bedroom and this one has cropped up several times. I run a Sony 3D downstairs and TBH, have only dug the glasses out a few times to watch films etc, 95% of its use has been normal HD 2D on the Sky HD channels.
Football does crop up on the 3D channel, but only very rarely and chances are, not the match you want to watch anyway.

I didn't get either, saw the lv355t in the Richer Sounds demo room it was pretty good for the money but the viewing angles were really poor. Football does crop up on the 3D channel, but only very rarely and chances are, not the match you want to watch anyway.
