Got a dead 42" Fujitsu plasma in the garage and having paid over £3k for it 6 or 7 years ago i can't quite bring myself to run it down the tip frown............ doesn't help that i bought it with inheritance money i got from my dear old nan when she died rolleyes

Is there any value in it atall ? Guess it doesn't help that Fujitsu are no longer in the TV business frown

Replaced it with a much newer Panasonic that frankly is nowhere near as good banghead

You may be able to give it away to someone who can fix it, maybe try freecycle? It's not really worth anything, a working model would probably fetch £100.

Stating the obvious but eBay it. Some people (like me) can use another dead one to make a good one out of two.

BTW: I have a dead Samsung that has been sitting behind the sofa for nearly two years as I dont have the heart to throw it out. But slowly finding spare parts for it.

If you were closer (I see you are in Essex?) I would 'kindly' have taken it off your hands.

I would still eBay it starting at 99p.

I just got £80 for my old £4k 50" Pioneer as it had a power supply issue (£70 fix).
That took 2 months on ebay to get that, so wouldn't hold out much hope for a lot frown

Think i'll stick it on e-bay early in the new year starting at 99p........... though if that's all it fetches and i have to take time off to wait in for someone to collect it then it'll hardly be worth the loss of earnings frown

Don`t bother with am auction, it`ll cost you loads more and max length is 10 days.

I now only list stuff as 30 day buy it now with submit best offer. Costs 40p for a 30 day listing and poeple can submit what they feel it`s worth.

I listed my Plasma at £150 or offers, and got a bid of £80 I accepted.

Much better option than auction
