Just bought a new Samsung LED ...Picture too sharp???
Discussion
I've just bought the new Samsung UE37D6750 from Costco and whilst watching the majority of TV/film the picture looks too sharp - it makes the programmes look 'staged' and super-imposed. I've also noticed a bit of judder in the rast action shots.
I'm viewing through Sky+HD and regular Sky / Digital.
Is this common with LED screens? If so I don't think I can put up with it. I've always had plasma and I'm thinking of taking this back and getting another plasma to add to the collection.
I hasten to add the documentary channels look fab when on HD.
Please help!!

Go into the menu and find the sharpness (and possibly detail enhance) controls and turn them down. If you stand close to the screen with some static text you can even adjust the control such that you don't see a false 'edge' on the text (turn sharpness down) but such that the image doesn't go too soft as some display's controls aren't correct at '0' though I've found my Sony TVs are.
There may also be a motion mode that makes the image look 'wrong' if set too high: One of my Sony TVs looks terrible on the higher settings, though the lowest is OK, I actually prefer it off altogether.
You might also look to see if there is a 'Cinema' mode or similar as some of the 'vivid' default modes on TVs might look good in a brightly lit shop, but look terrible once at home.
