Speaker proximity

I've sat a speaker on top of my desktop PC.....one of the below.



Mordaunt Short MS5.20. Very old tech, but a phenominal speaker nonetheless.

Is the magnet too close? Whats the etiquette on proximity to HDD's?

Try getting the speaker and putting it on top of a CRT telly or Pc monitor. See how funky the colours get from the magnetism!
