Panasonic TX-L37DT30B or Samsung UE40D7000
Discussion
Is the Samsung worth the extra £150 after allowing for the £100 cashback?
OK it's got wifi built in, but I intend to connect them both by ethernet cable to router so wifi is slightly irrelevant. John Lewis seem to think you can't do that on the Pana but after reading the manual you clearly can.
Bigger screen for the Samsung but 37" will be OK and in the past been a bit of a Pana fanboy with 100% reliability and good experience.
But the issue where it will only read certain files eg mp4 that have been recorded by another Panasonic device is a pain and seems they are just trying to make things difficult.
Noticed Panasonic screen is bit less clear on wide angle viewing, but after that, struggling to differentiate.
