3d glasses

Ok, so we now have a 3d Samsung telly and have tried boggo 3d glasses....they don't work. No doubt Samsung will tear me a new one for a pair so do I need active/passive or what?

Active - I know Currys do them cheap at the moment

You need Samsung specific glasses to suit the model of tv you have. They're not all the same. Active Bluetooth Samsungs can be had at Currys for £20.

Be carefull, early Samsungs used ir glasses, later ones use bluetooth glasses and they arnt interchangeable.

Yeah, that's the tricky bit, you'd think the manual would tell you something. Nine is D490 for which these seem to be suitable
