Get a new tv to work solely with sky+ remote??

Got my Vierra LED TV yesterday - connected it up but cannot for the life of me work out how to make it work with just the Sky remote. Tv remote used at present for volume/on and off Sky+ remote for channel changing.

Sorry for being a dumbass! Mrs Rat usually takes care of all this - but shes not here at the moment.
