I have a good but old Pioneer plasma with one HDMI input. I could do with more.
Are all switches the same, kind of, or do you get what you pay for?

There is a marked difference in quality but any decent online retailer (Not eBay!) will not tend to sell garbage and will take returns if the product doesn't work. Try somewhere like Keene Electronic for a unit ... here's one I found during a search which looks up to the job. 4 inputs and 1 output. Keene

I picked one of these HDMI boxes up, 4 inputs, 2 outputs (eg. one to amp, one to tv), and an optical output as well

Works brilliantly, especially for the money I think.

Hello,

In my brother's HT setup, we use the following :
http://www.kramerelectronics.com/products/model.as...

Really nice piece, it has 4 inputs , is remote controlled and reclocks the hdmi stream (mandatory here as it's connected to the projector by a 45/50 ft cable).

Kind Regards

Looking at an oppo switch. Class 3 certified. Should there be any loss in signal quality through a switch like these?
