Most of what I hear is pretty poor, worse than DAB. I only listen to speech radio via internet because of this.

Thanks.

That leads onto the next question - how good is dab radio?

Are all the stations on dab ?

If you use winamp, each station displays their bitrate.

varies from 32 to 320 kbps from what I have used.

Spotify premium. 320. Will sound like CD quality through most systems and to most ears.

Good selection of music on there and you can take playlists offline incase you go to places without internet connection

Try listening to Radio Paradise - you might be surprised.

I'm not saying it's 'superfi', but they have quite a reasonable stream.

No adverts either - just music.

Freeview Radio is pretty good(if a little limited in choice), I think it has a much higher data rate then any DAB transmitter.

Or get an old Sky box. What stations do you want to listen to? Through a HiFi amp and decent speakers?
