Morning all,

I'm trying to connect a second hand freeview box (no instructions supplied!) to a 14 year old CRT?

Any help appreciated on which cables go where.

Thanks.

Does the TV have a Scart input? If so use that from the Scart out on the Freeview box.

Aerial. This should go to the antenna input on the Freeview box and then link the RF out on the Freeview box to the aerial in on the TV.

You only need to link the RF between Freeview box and TV if the box has an RF modulator, which I doubt. Unless the OP is in an area not switched over yet there will be no analogue signal for the TV. Full switchover will be completed this year anyway
