Chaps,

As Sky are now going to be showing F1 in HD and surround sound, I’m going to use it as a good excuse to upgrade the 7 year old plasma TV in my drawing room . .. Any suggestions for the following

Budget – less than £1250

Sky box is located in another room, so will need some way of getting the signal approx. 30ft, currently using a good old fashioned coax amplifier / distribution setup, to punt the signal round the house.

Already have a decent Sony Blue ray player, surround speakers (3 at the front, 2 and bass at the rear) and a Cambridge Audio surround processor / amp that I hate with a passion (so want to keep BR player and at the least, the front speakers)

So looking for new screen, new amp thingy and the best way to stick it all together

What size screen are you after and what speakers do you own?

Do you mind 2nd hand and what's wrong with the Cambridge receiver?

Thanks for the suggestion, will pop along to Richers without my credit card and have a look smile

Another simple question, are there any suggestions for wireless streaming of the output from the Sky +HD box to the TV / Reciever, or will I be lifting floor boards again?

The best thing anyone can do is demo at richsounds imo gives you a true view of the system, lifting boards im afraid.
