Sky + Boxes - Can they record without being a subscriber?

Hmmm. Might give that a go. TBH. I dont really like Sky but I do like their system (dont like change I suppose).And using the HD box I just have the minimum account but thats still £20 a month but we very, very rarely watch anything on Sky.

I got rid of everything in the end, including the TV licence and haven't missed it in the slightest!
