Triplexer socket + Magic eye ?

Am i correct in thinking a Triplexer socket blocks the 9v dc supply for Magic eye ?
Would this be the solution By pass socket ?

p.s. I need the triple as i have a different Satelite feed coming down the single coax
if i lose that feed i will get lots of

You can use one of these On existing amps or distribution boxes.

A bypass will not work as the satellite feed also passes a voltage and signalling tone up the cable to control to electronics at the end of the satellite dish.
I think I have done it once but can't remember the exact combo of hardware, I am in the apartment I fitted it to later this week so will pop in to have a check.
