I've a Panasonic 37V20 Which I use with the Feeesat tuner. I out this sound to my Amp via an optical cable.

The thing that bothers me is the HD channels output at a lower volume than the SD channels. So if swapping from an SD to an HD, I then need to turn the volume up.

Is there a way to balance this bias out? I'm assuming that it would be a TV based option as opposed to an Amp setting as they're both send down the same optical cable.

Cheers.

No it is fixed it is on my freest humax anyway and you cannot change the volume on the box- has to be done on the TV or AMP.

The freesat tuners built into the TV so I was hoping for a setting. I've had a quick look around but being no expert, I've not seen anythibg

No fix, but it is often because sd is usually stereo and hd is surround, check by selecting the same sound mode on the amp.
