Sky HD + remote record.

I have just activated remote record on the Sky website. Do I need to connect a phone line?

Searching on Google give a 50/50 split yes and no.

I have Anytime+ and a connection to a router, but no phone line plugged into the the box.

Any ideas?

Yep, above, no phone line needed. Mine works fine without.

Confirmation, yes it works without. My initial thoughts were that it might need one to set up.
